The purpose of this amendment is to:

1. Update the due date of quotes from 3 September 2026, 12:00 PM MDT to 7 September 2026, 12:00 PM MDT.

2. Update Salient Characteristics from Salient Characteristics, 28 July 2026 to Salient Characteristics, 1 September 2026.

3. Provide Questions and Answers. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

Swaging Tool Kit Solicitation Type: This solicitation is for a single-award, firm-fixed price.

Set Aside: This acquisition is a total small business set aside IAW RFO 19.104-1 Period of Performance: 60 days after contract award Brand Name Requirement: This is a brand name only requirement and Offerors must provide the exact part numbers specified on the attached Price Sheet. No substitutions or "or equal" items will be considered.

Evaluation Criteria: Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the requirements of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is determined to represent the best value to the Government. The Government will utilize RFO Part 12 procedures and conduct an integrated assessment for a best value award decision based on the following evaluation factors: Price and Technical Acceptability.

Submission Requirements: Interested and responsible entities are encouraged to submit a quote. Proposals must include the following:

Completed Standard Form 1449. Completed Price Sheet Proof that your company is an authorized reseller of the Smith Machine and Tool parts listed on the Price Sheet.

System for Award Management (SAM): Offerors must be registered in SAM at https://www.sam.gov and have a valid CAGE code to be eligible for award.

Attachments: Standard Form 1449 Salient Characteristics Price Sheet Brand Name Justification Questions and Answers: All questions regarding this solicitation and attachments are due no later than 27 August, 2026 at 12:00 PM MDT. Email questions to Mitchell Bryk at mitchell.bryk@us.af.mil. Answers will be provided as an addendum to the solicitation.

Quotes are to be submitted to Mitchell Bryk at mitchell.bryk@us.af.mil and Jayna Clements at jayna.clements@us.af.mil and are due no later than 3 September, 2026, 12:00 PM MDT. Quotes must be valid until 30 September 2026. Availability of Funds: Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made.

No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
