10 Sep 24 - Solicitation Amendment 1 has been released and attached to this posting to provide the submitted Questions and government provided answers in support of this requirement. The 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, has issued Solicitation FA469024Q0070, to compete and award a single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract using FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the 28th Force Support Squadron (FSS) Ventless Grill requirement. See Attachment 1, Salient Characteristics – Ventless Grill dated 28 August 2024, for more information.

This will be a 100% Small Business set aside solicited under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333241 with a size standard of 500 employees. To be eligible to compete for Small Business set-aside awards, vendors must be certified in accordance with current Small Business Administration (SBA) regulations.

Attached to this Solicitation Notice is the Standard Form 1449 Solicitation FA469024Q0070 and Attachment 1 - Salient Characteristics – Ventless Grill dated 28 August 2024. All questions and comments on this solicitation must be submitted in writing to jason.wright.30@us.af.mil no later than 10 September 2024 by 4:00pm MDT. Please title all emails with questions with the following subject line: “FA469024Q0070 – Solicitation - Ventless Grill”.

Questions will be answered only via posting of an amendment to this solicitation on www.sam.gov. All interested and responsible entities are invited to submit a quote that will be considered by the 28th Contracting Office at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. The award will be based on the criteria established in the solicitation.

Vendor quotes and all items required are listed within the Addendum to 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors, and are due to be submitted not later than 12 September 2024 by 12:00pm MDT to jason.wright@us.af.mil.

Please title all submissions with the following subject line: “Quote FA469024Q0070 – Solicitation - Ventless Grill” Small Business contractors submitting a quote must have and list within the quote the vendors assigned Cage and be registered and ACTIVE in the System of Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to receive an award for this procurement.
