Notice of Intent: Giant Voice Repair Services

The 28th Contracting Squadron Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota intends to award a sole source contract to American Signal Corp. APPLICABLY OF AUTHORITY: The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this acquisition is the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement FAR 13.106(b) justifies limiting the source if the Contracting Officer determines the circumstances of the contract deem only one source reasonably available.

The attached sole source justification outlines the Contracting Officers justification and reasoning to award a sole source award to American Signal Corp. This is a Sole Source Justificatin supporting the acquisition of Giant Voice Repair Services on Ellsworth AFB. Only one vendor was identified and approved to provide the required software and hardware for he aforesaid unit. See the attached justification document.
