Notice of Sole Source: Asbestos BPA Modification for Ceiling Increase

The 28th Contracting Squadron Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota modified the Asbestos, Mold & Lead Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to increase the ceiling price.

APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this acquisition is the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) justifies limiting the source if the contracting officer determines the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

The attached sole source justification outlines the Contracting Officers justification and reasoning to sole sourcing the modification to L&L Insulation, Inc.. This is a Sole Source Justification supporting the modification to increase the ceiling price for Ellsworth AFB, SD. See the attached justification document.
