452d Operation Support Squadron (OSS) Office Workplace Furniture (OFW) Requirement The March Air Reserve Base Contracting Directorate (452 MSG PK), March ARB intends to orally solicit a competitive, Firm-Fixed Price Service Contract within the local trade/geographical area of March ARB, CA under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The applicable NAICS is 337214 with a size standard of 1100 employees. The required items are as follows:

The requirement is for the 452d OSS Office Workplace Furniture (OWF), which includes stackable panel systemutive-level, collaboration standalone workstations, business-level collaboration standalone workstations, hoteling systems, task chairs, guest chairs, and supporting furniture (i.e., file cabinets, wardrobes, bookshelves, etc.). The following number of stackable panel systems will be list on the Statement of Work (SOW).

They will include conference rooms, cubicle farms, break rooms, supervisors offices, restrooms, and maintenance offices. For further required details, please reference the SOW. Notice to interested Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this notice until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this notice, either before or after the closing date.

In the event the Government cancels this notice, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Quote (RFQ) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government. THIS IS NOT AN RFQ AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT.

452 MSG has appointed an Ombudsman to hear concerns from potential offerors relating to this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.

The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Matters of a routine or administrative nature concerning this acquisition should not be addressed to the Ombudsman but rather the Contracting Officer identified below.
