The 7th Contracting Squadron at Dyess AFB, Texas, is issuing this Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought in an effort to perform market research to assist in determining the acquisition strategy and identify potential sources that possess the retrofit expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to retrofit current CNC Tube Bender to the latest technology at Dyess, AFB. The designated NAICS Code is (333517- Machine Tool Manufacturing). Please include any additional terms and/or conditions that might be included in a contract between commercial entities. Large and small businesses are invited to answer this market survey to determine market capabilities:

01/2017 Power: 480V, 35A, 3 Phase, 60 hertz The end state is to have an updated CNC Tube Bender with the latest technology. The Government is currently considering the following new standard.

Eaton Leonard VB90 single- stack, 8 axis CNC bender, including: -Windows 10 operating system with networking and remote diagnostics. -Easy to use BendPro G2 software with new parts wizard and several teaching modes. -New Rittal operator console-Industrial, flat panel PC with 15” touch screen, UPS, and SERCOS interface (Beckhoff). -New SERCOS fiber optic cables for connecting PC to existing I/O system and servo drives. -New safety PLC, master control relays, power supply, and misc components. -Existing I/O will be used for the retrofit. –Install proximity sensors for PD and PDA- Electrical schematics drawn specifically for your specific bender. -CMM Interface for Supervision Network Protocol.
