The contractor (Ktr) shall provide 35%, 65% and 100% design services for the complete design and construction necessary for the ktr to repair the fire suppression systems in building 154 and 155 to comply with NFPA, UFC, ETL, IBC codes and industry standards. Any work not specifically covered by the specifications shall comply with listed standards under Section 10. “GOVERNING CODES”.
Contractor shall have approved drawings and submittals for all materials prior to any new work or installation of equipment, including accessory items. Contractor shall review existing as-built drawings and make corrections to apply with proposed new scope designs with final review by the Government for approval. All work must comply with environmental laws and regulations, including abatement of any hazardous materials.
Travis Air Force Base Specification Section 01000 and 01 56 00 have been provided for reference. The performed tasks shall be based on the project description and other data furnished in the SOW. Please see review the attached Statement of Work and attachments for additional details about the requirement. Any individuals interested in attending the site visit scheduled for 12 June 2024 are required to notify Brandon Spratt by 10 June 2024 at brandon.spratt.2@us.af.mil to ensure base access can be coordinated.
(As of 17 June 2024) Another site visit shall be made available for any interest vendors looking to provide a proposal, that were unable to make it to the previous site visit. This site visit is scheduled for 20 June 2024 at 1100. Please email brandon.spratt.2@us.af.mil and william.rife@us.af.mil by close of business 18 June 2024 if you are an interest vendor looking to provide a proposal. It is recommended to arrive at the Travis AFB Visitor Center at 1040 to prevent delays while obtaining base access.
All questions shall be submitted in writing by email to both the Contracting Specialist and the Contracting Officer by close of business Wednesday, June 19th, 2024. Verbal questions shall NOT be accepted. Answers to questions shall be posted to SAM.gov. The government does not guarantee that questions received after Wednesday, June 19th, 2024, at close of business will be answered.
