Travis AFB, David Grant Medical Center, Coagulation Analyzer (Phase -In/Phase-Out)

FA442724P0117

Department of the Air Force, FA4427 60 Cons LGC. In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing.

Awarded

Abbott Laboratories Inc.

$200,099.68 obligated so far on USAspending, August 30, 2024, contract FA442724P0117

Description

As published on SAM.gov.

The 60th Medical Group (60 MDG) at Travis Air Force Base has a requirement to maintain the current Coagulation Analyzer operational, while the new contract Analyzer is Phased-In. Abbott laboratories Inc. is the incumbent Coagulation Analyzer under contract.

As the follow-on contract was awarded to another Vendor, DGMC requires incumbent Coagulation Analyzer to remain in the facility while new vendor transitions their equipment in, so there is no loss of testing capabilities during the estimated 6 month Phase In/Phase Out timeline. The current contractor (Abbott) must uninstall and remove its equipment, and the new contractor (Werfen) must install and validate its new equipment in this 6-month period. 60 MDG requires continuous lab testing capability during this phase-out / phase-in period.
