BAK-12 Arresting System Spare Parts Single Source Notice

*10 September 2024 Update - The Single Source Justification was updated to reflect the full items listing. This includes all 35 parts to be ordered (original SSJ only included 27 items).

The 85th FG Squadron at Ebbing ANG Base, AR 72903 requires BAK-12 Arresting System Spare Parts. The 97th Contracting Squadron intends to make award to CURTISS-WRIGHT FLOW CONTROL SERVICE, LLC (CAGE: 21439), due to the current warranty terms on the newly installed BAK-12 Arresting System Spare Parts. The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b).

This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement.

Requests for documentation, additional information, or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a single source procurement.
