KC-46 Aircraft Inlet Covers and Exhaust Plugs

- 5 Feb 24 - Questions and Answers to KC-46 Inlet Covers and Exhaust Plugs Solicitation have been added as Attachment 6. The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for acquisition of:

? Intake Covers for PW 4062 Engine, Cold Weather ops, with heater hose access ? Application of custom artwork ? Bypass vent and turbine exhaust plugs for PW 4062 Engine ? Storage bags for bypass vent and turbine exhaust plugs The intake covers must comply with the salient characteristics, specifically: ? Must fit PW 4062 Engine and have cold weather ops, with heater hose access ? Must be able to imprint custom artwork ? Must have bypass vent and turbine exhaust plugs, PW 4062 (set of 6) ?

Must have storage bag for bypass vent and turbine exhaust plugs ? Covers must be made of heavy?duty vinyl in black color ? Covers must be able to withstand strong winds; gusts up to 60 knots ? Covers must have durable bungee/elastic style strap Any questions shall be submitted via email to the below points of contacts by 5 February 2024 at 1100 CST (11:00AM CST). This acquisition will fall under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336413. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside.

Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management Database (SAM) prior to submission of quotes. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD SAM prior to submission of proposal will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately to be eligible for timely award.
