Cold Weather Gear

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is FA441724Q0318 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05.

The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 315990 with a small business size standard of 600 employees. This requirement is a Small Business Set-Aside and only qualified contractors may submit bids. This requirement is for Brand Name or Equal. Or Equal items must meet all of the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics specified by the item list (see attached Cold Weather Gear - Item List).

If an or Equal item is provided, contractors MUST provide exactly what they are submitting (manufacturer, model and description) to be considered. The or Equal items will be evaluated on the basis of information furnished by the contractor.

Questions: Interested parties must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.
