Maxwell Airforce Base Lemay Center Glass Replacement RFI

The 42d Contracting Squadron is seeking sources that are willing and able to provide the Lemay Center at Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB) – Gunter Annex. Currently there is a glass piece in the center of Building 1400, that has been etched with the previous patch. This glass piece needs to be removed and replaced with the updated name for our center. The current glass is large at 66” x 106” with thickness of ¾”, this is a large project and will take an expert in the field to not break the glass.

The glass will be replaced with a more cost effective ¾” clear tempered glass. Accuracy is important, and it’s impossible to create a cohesive branded experience if your signage doesn’t reflect our recent re-branding. Please refer to the attached SOR and pictures for information regarding the equipment needed. Currently we are not seeking quotes at this time but only looking if vendors can meet the requirement.
