Intent to Sole Source - FY24 LDC Mixed Reality Leadership Experience

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to Emotional Intelligence Institute, Inc. to provide Maxwell AFB’s Air University with a Mixed Reality Experience in accordance with (IAW) the attached Statement Of Objectives (SOO).

Brief Description of Requirement: The vendor must provide and/or create new Mixed Reality Leadership Experience (MLRx) scenarios using a Virtual Avatar Laboratory (VAL) known as Live Simulation.

For LDC’s ‘DVI’ lesson, the ‘Triad’ experience, and ‘Capstone’ event, the MRLx through a VAL is a unique opportunity for Airman and Guardians to practice and apply theories and concepts of leadership and command in realistic live interaction simulations, which provides a practice ground for demonstrating behaviors that make an effective Airman/Guardian (officer, enlisted, and civilian). The estimated period of performance is 01 August 2024 through 30 June 2025. There will be no written solicitation issued.

This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
