373 TRS Det Engine Stands

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; excluding modifications. This soliciting this Request for Quote (RFQ) for the delivery of 1 EA F-180 CFM56-2 Engine Stands (Part Number: CFM International 856A1122G10 (brand name or equal)) for the 373 TRS at 3 detachments.

One engine stand will be delivered to three separate detachments located in Fairchild AFB, WA, Offutt AFB, NE & MacDill AFB, FL. See attachment 1- F-108 Engine Trainer Stand Pictures, for guidelines to ensure the stand can support an F-108 engine, CFM56-2. The 82d Contracting Squadron at Sheppard AFB, TX anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. This requirement is brand name or equal.

Amendment 1- The purpose of this amendment is to update the product specification sheet to only inlcude blueprints for the 856A1122G10 stand. The engine that the stands will be holding is the CFM56-2B.

Amendment 2- The purpose of this amendment is to clarify that "or equal" parts are acceptable.

Amendment 3- The purpose of this amendment is to extend the response deadline to Thursday, September 11th at 1:00 PM CST to allow additional time to provide sufficient answers to questions received.

Amendment 4- The purpose of this amendment is to provide Attachment 3- Questions and Answers to answer questions received. Attachment 1 has been updated to remove blueprints due to suspected CUI nature. The attachment now only includes pictures of the requested stand, CFM International part number: 856A1122G10. The Combo form attachment has been updated to reflect the changes in the response deadline and the deadline for questions asked. The deadline to ask questions is now Wednesday, September 10th at 1000 CST. The response deadline has been updated to Friday, September 12th at 1000 CST.

The applicable NAICS code is 336413, and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This requirement is a total set aside for small business concerns. The solicitation number is # FA302025Q0125 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). See attached “Combo RFQ” for the RFQ format. All documents including the solicitation and all amendments to the solicitation are obtainable via this notice. Contractors are strongly cautioned to check this notice periodically for amendments.

The solicitation will close at 10:00AM CST on 12 September 2025. All solicitations must be submitted via email to the Primary and Alternate contacts listed below.
