Notice: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE, PROPOSAL, OR BID. This notice is NOT a solicitation as defined by FAR 2.101, therefore this shall NOT be construed as a commitment by the Government to enter into a contract, nor does this restrict the Government for any future acquisition approach. All information contained in this initial posting, its attachments, and subsequent presentations are preliminary. Further, its attachments, and subsequent presentations are in no way binding on the Government.
Information submitted in response to this is voluntary ONLY. The Government will NOT compensate for information requested nor will the Government reimburse any respondent for any cost incurred for travel, attendance, or development of submitting information provided to the Government. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor SAM.gov site for additional information pertaining to this Industry Day.
Inability to participate in the Government’s Industry Day DOES NOT preclude any entity from participating in any future solicitations. Moreover, participating or not participating in this Industry Day will not be considered in any future solicitation. The United States Air Force (USAF) under AFSAT requires training and technology transfer in accordance with security assistance agreements and/or security cooperation programs as documented in multiple cases.
Specifically, supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) F-16 postproduction pilot training and supporting services. Those services will include providing F-16 Instructor Pilots (IP) to conduct pilot flight, simulator, and academic training. This may require courseware development, support positions (i.e., scheduler, aircrew flight equipment) and may be CONUS or OCONUS. The services provided are not intended to conduct formal USAF F-16 Basic or Requalification courses.
