316 FSS Youth Center Basketball Court

*SOLICITATION RESPONSE DATE EXTENDED TO 10 SEPTEMBER 2024 DUE TO THE FOLLOWING UPDATES: UPDATED ATTACHMENT 1 SOW TO INCLUDE DIMENSIONS AND COLOR, UPDATED ATTACHMENT 5 WITH ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS* The 316 FSS Youth Center is looking to refurbish their existing basketball court. The current basketball court is outdated, the cement is harsh, and the basketball hoops and poles are rusted. Youth will use the basketball court for physical activities such as basketball, badminton, volleyball and tennis. The basketball court will also be used for instructional camps which are run year-round as well as fire drill line-up location.

Physical Characteristics: Court - The contractor will install 12x12 basketball court painted rubber tiles, for a 95x60 court. Included will be ramp edges for connection of surface tiles. Tiles will be painted to reflect basic basketball court lines as well as numbers for fire drill lineup. Adjustable basketball hoop - The contractor will install two 10ft high basketball hoops that will be anchored down to existing concrete. Contractor shall quote and provide equipment identified in the SOW.

A site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, 3 September 2024 at 11:00am located at 4700 Yuma Dr., Building 4700, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762.
