ASAP-18 Rapid Shelter System

This acquisition is supported through unique characteristics to include pre-existing purchases from other branches of service, e.g. Unit States Marine Corps. The use of only one source available in the acquisition is essential to the Government's requirements and reputation. The Deployed Logix (DLX), ASAP-18 Rapid Shelters are designed to allow emergency responders to focus on the mission at hand verses when valuable response was used to set up operations verses operating.

Current tents at Los Angeles Air Force Base are Temper Tents, decades old, are broken down, worn out and take a team of 8 personnel to set-up in about 45 minutes. DLXs ASAP-18 Rapid Shelters are able to erect with only 2 personnel within 60 seconds.
