The Government is conducting market research to identify capable, qualified, and experienced sources to provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by telephone and email, comprehensive maintenance, emergency repair, and preventative servicing, and software/hardware support for the Central Plant Computer System (CPCS) at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB). The CPCS operates as the core automation of a utility plant.

It is responsible for monitoring commercial utility power and executing the automated, sequenced start-up and load-synchronization of the installation's standby base generators in the event of a commercial power outage. CPCS monitors commercial power at 12,470 volts, medium-and-low-voltage switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and Motor Control Centers. The CPCS utilizes the program called Freelance.

All technicians must be experienced with generator control systems and NETA-certified for CPCS electrical testing, as these qualifcations are essential for proper maintenance and troubleshooting.
