Schriever SFB B810 Fire Riser Replacement

Amendment 0002 Amendment 0002 to the solicitation includes more RFI answers and photos taken of the current in place Fire Riser. See the updated attachment 3 and the new attachment 4 for more informaiton.

Amendment 0001 There will be a site visit for this solicitation on Thursday, 5 September, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. MDT. If you would like to attend this site visit, please email Kade Allen at kade.allen@spaceforce.mil AND SrA BowenChapman at nautica.bowen_chapman@spaceforce.mil with the names of all that will be attending, your SAM.gov UEI, and whether you will be requiring base access or if you already have base access. The location will be at B810 on Schriever SFB.

We will all meet in the visitors center prior to starting the site visit. Please be to the visitor center no later than 9:30 a.m. MDT. Please ensure that you have: - Valid Driver's License - Hard copy of Vehicle Registration - Proof of car insurance (if you are the one driving) - Know your SSN Attending the site visit is NOT mandatory. Included in this amendment is two RFI questions that have been answered. Please see "Attachment 3 RFI Answers" for more information. The RFI due date has also been extended to 6 September at 1400 MDT due to the site visit.

The 50 Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) at Schriever SFB needs an existing Victaulic Series 756 Dry riser valve to be removed and replaced with another dry riser (brand unspecified) in Building 810 located on Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB). This is a new service requirement. The current riser has required an excessive amount of maintenance and the 50 CES Plumbing shop would like to have the riser replaced.

The old valve must be removed from the old fire system so that a new shotgun riser and piping can be installed. Please see the attachments for more information. This is a 100% total small business set aside. Response deadline is Thursday, 12 September 2024 no later than 1400 Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).
