Peterson SFB - PacStar

This is a one-time, firm-fixed-price (FFP) commercial acquisition for PacStar equipment and components to support the USSPACECOM Commanders Communications Team. Please see attached Combo Solitication.

AMENDMENT 001: The purpose of this amendment is to address submitted Requests for Information (RFIs). No changes are made to the terms and conditions of the original combined synopsis/solicitation. The "Date Offers Due" was updated in the original SF 1449 to accurately reflect 29 June 2026 at 12:00 PM MDT. This was only an admin error, the correct Date Offers Due was always 29 June 2026 at 12:00 PM MDT on the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Document and on the SAM.gov posting.

To reflect this amendment, a new combined synopsis/solicitation document has been attached. It is titled "FA251726QA0170001_Combo_PacStar". The original combined synopsis/solicitation has been renamed "(Outdated)FA251726QA017_Combo_PacStar" to avoid confusion. Please see "Solicitation Amendment FA251726QA0170001 SF 30" for full Amendment 001 details. The Government will not accept or address any further RFIs for the remainder of this solicitation period.

RFI and Answer:

RFI: A vendor noted that there appears to be a missing piece to mount the KG-250XS encryptor. They mentioned they could provide the part number and pricing if it is indeed required.

Answer: The Government does not require any additional items beyond what is explicitly listed in the combined synopsis/solicitation.

RFI: A vendor requested confirmation on whether the end-users require a HAIPE sled for a KG250X/XS to be included in the PacStar 200-series package Answer: The Government does not require any additional items beyond what is explicitly listed in the combined synopsis/solicitation.

RFI: We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.

Answer: This is a new requirement; there is no incumbent contractor.
