Description
As published on SAM.gov.
The Air Force (AF) requires an improved solution for multi-domain Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) analysis using sensing autonomy and multiple-intelligence (multi-INT) processing infrastructure to facilitate intelligence analysis and improve collection on time-dominant threats. This capability will help the AF achieve global persistent awareness, resilient information sharing, predictive analytics, and rapid decision making.
This capability will be achieved by further developing the current Insight System that resides at AFRL/RYA. The Insight System incorporates artificial intelligence and machine learning to understand and recognize the adversary's intent from existing intelligence information from multiple different sources, and recommends additional ISR information needed to accelerate military actions. The Insight software combines existing operational analytics into an information fusion engine for ISR applications.
The combined software encodes human intelligence analyst experience to automatically recognize and predict adversary behavior to allow for faster decision making.
This follow-on contract will further develop and integrate multi-domain enhancements to Insight's fusion and characterization capabilities, enhance data processing, analytics, and intelligence products to support customer missions, system integration, demonstrations, and experiments required to support transition organizations' specific missions, processes, and deployment environments, as well as continue development on Insight autonomous resource management for sensor fusion.
This will enable the Insight System to support a wider variety of real-world operations with enhanced analytics, framework, and human machine interface capabilities in support of rapidly evolving operational requirements including air, ground, and maritime threats.
