EMC On Site Storage Services

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F5BFSC4031AW01 is being issued as a request for quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05.

The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 518210. This procurement is being solicited as a sole-source acquisition to Dell EMC. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract and will be evaluated on price only.

Headquarters (HQ) Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC)/A6CN has a requirement for full-time, on-site certified technical expertise for overall architectural design, administration, planning, and mission support for the implementation and interface support of hardware and software solutions related to network storage.

Specifically, the requirement includes planning and assignment of multiple storage-based solutions to ensure best practices are followed for the environment; analysis and reporting of usage trends for all storage and fabric equipment; capacity planning; and recommendations to AFRC staff for future initiatives.

This action is necessary to acquire resident services coverage for EMC hardware and software located at the HQ AFRC Data Center and AFRC base-level units on both the High and Low sides of the network from 30 Sep 2024 through 29 Sep 2025. This acquisition with have a basic 12 month period of performance (POP) with four (4) option years.
