TITLE: F3N6175140AW01 Sole Source Acquisition for 2ASOS L3Harris Antennas The 700th Contracting Squadron, Kapaun AS, Germany intends to award a sole source purchase order to L3 Harris required items to be purchased are:

This procurement will be for the purchase of various Antennas and Antenna kits from L3 Harris used across 3 waveforms necessary for TACP mission set in USAFE AFAFRICA. These Antenna kits enable radio communications for Ultra high/ Very high frequency, Tactical spectrum mesh network, and the Mobile user objective system. The 2 ASOS is also requesting L3 Harris specific radio batteries to power 3 different radios devices.

APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by AFFARS 5313.501 - 10 U.S.C. 2302b, Implementation of Simplified Acquisition Procedures (41 U.S.C. 1901), this specific required military grade OEM equipment item designed to operate in a specific way to meet a required mission need. The specialized Antenna Kits from Harris Radios fall under sole propriety and distribution of L3Harris.

L3 Harris is the only company that provides the U.S. Government contracts that follow the LGL-50.F1 and LG-50.F2 outlined standard. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 9 July 2025 at 2:00 P.M CEST.
