Description
As published on SAM.gov.
The Government has a requirement for the supply and delivery of two (2) crash-rated, portable, 100% manually operated vertical-lift beam barrier gates for emergency roadway control. Supplies must be certified to ASTM F2656-07 M30 P3 standards (stopping a 15,000-lb vehicle at 30 mph; penetration 23.1–98.4 ft) and remain fully functional, repositionable, and reusable post-impact. Clear opening span must be between 16 ft and 20 ft. Units must require zero electrical power, require no ground anchoring, drilling, or excavation, and feature vertical beam articulation of at least 90 degrees with manual open/lock times under 30 seconds. Systems must support manual loading/unloading into standard utility trailers without heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts) and achieve complete single-person setup in under 30 minutes.
See the attached Statement of Requirement (SOR) for additional details.
