Notice of Intent- Paint Analyzer

Notice of Intent: The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Sci Aps Inc (cage code 6ZB94), 7 Constitution Way, Woburn, Massachusetts 0180, for the purchase of lead paint analyzer X-550 PB. Sci Aps is the only contractor that can meet the needs of this requirement. The proposed contract action is for purchase of the item in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Sci Aps, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability of responding to this requirement. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers. However, all quotes/offers along with certified distributor documentation for the analyzer that is received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
