Vehicle Barrier Repair at JBSA Lackland Valley High Gate

The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to PVPII-FNSS Acquisition, INC dba Global Grab Technologies, Inc (cage code 88SX9), 277 Mallory Station RD, STE 112 Franklin, TN 37067-8251, to repair the vehicle barrier at JBSA Lackland Valley Gate. Global Grab Technologies, Inc is the developer, manufacturer, and installer of Final Denial Barrier systems that are used on JBSA-Lackland AFB.

Their systems are primarily comprised of highly sophisticated equipment, and proprietary that is licensed to the end users, but forbids them from altering the system software in any way. The proposed contract action is for services with only one source, Global Grab Technologies, Inc, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers. Interested persons may identify their and capabilities for fulfilling this requirement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is based solely upon the Government based in responses to this notice. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement as is solely within the discretion of the Government.
