Substation Maintenance

The substations at Hanscom AFB need to be serviced and maintained at the required intervals. The substations must be serviced and maintained to ensure the unrestricted flow of electricity to the base.

The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies and parts, transportation and other incidentals necessary to travel to Hanscom AFB, MA, to to inspect, test, and perform preventive and predictive diagnosis maintenance to substations in accordance with all applicable State, Federal and Local codes and regulations. Specific standards are AFH 32-1282, AFI 32-1065, NFPA 70B and OSHA. The goal is to ensure high confidence levels in electrical service required for the entire installation.

The contractor is primarily to perform routine maintenance and associated repairs. The contractor shall be responsible for ensuring all services and parts provided under this contract are in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined herein and conform to the manufacturer’s equipment specifications and this Performance Work Statement (PWS).
