Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Vehicle Half Shaft Steering Part

The United States Air Force Test Center/Directorate of Contracting (AFTC/PZIOA), Edwards AFB, CA intends to solicit and award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Services and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to ATAP, Inc. for their Vehicle Half Shaft Steering requirement. The NAICS code is 336390. This is not a request for quotations.

Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the government's requirement. In addition, the response should indicate the contractor's size status in respect to NAICS code 336390 and indicate completion of Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items provsion FAR 52.212-3 which can be done electronically via SAM.gov. Any responses received without FAR 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12.
