F1S2AA5133AW02 DESC: THIS IS A NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION (NOCA); THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOCA OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS.
THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOCA IS TO NOTIFY INDUSTRY OF THE USAF'S INTENT OF CONTRACT ACTION AND POSSIBLY GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF OTHER POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST.
The Air Force Material Command (AFMC), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California, intends to award a sole source contract to Quinn Company, 10006 Rose Hills Rd, City of Industry, California 90601 for Caterpillar Skid Steer Repair for Compact Track Loader. This will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items. Quinn Company is the only known regional vendor that is capable of providing manufacture-approved repair work.
Acquisition of services will be to provide repairs to a Caterpillar Compact Track Loader. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811111and the size standard is $9,000,000 million. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3572. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
Any interested parties believing they can meet all the requirements listed above, may submit a capability statement detailing how all requirements can be met. All information furnished shall be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow the government representative to evaluate and determine if it can meet the requirement. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) Wednesday 9:00 A.M., Pacific Daylight Time, 03 September 25. Responses should be submitted to:
