Instrumentation R&D Testing

This is a Synopsis of Contract Action (SOCA); this is not a solicitation for a Request for Proposal, Invitation to Bid, or a commitment, implied or otherwise, that AFTC/PZZF will take procurement action in the matter. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this SOCA or any follow-up information requests.

The purpose of this SOCA is to notify industry of the United States Air Force (USAF) intent of contract action and possibly gain knowledge of other potentially qualified sources and their size classifications (small business, large business, etc.) please do not request a copy of solicitation, as one does not exist.

Instrumentation R&D Testing The AFTC Contracting Directorate (AFTC/PZZF), Edwards AFB intends to issue a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price Contract under the authority of 10 United States Code (USC) 2302(b), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) to FaraDay Defense Corporation, 5912 VENTURE PARK DR, KALAMAZOO, MI 49009 USA United States. The applicable NAICS is 314910 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The following is a brief description of the acquisition requirements: Part #60112 Double layer of Faraday CYBER Fabric with an Outer Layer of Black Sports Nylon.

Includes:

Series 500 frame (10'x10'x7'), (1) patented 32"W x 62"H single/double magnet door, heavy-duty vinyl floor and tent storage bag. Door to hinge on side with PVC framing. Average of -90dB from 400MHz - 18GHz Part#60125 Includes (2) 120mm x 120mm Dual Honeycomb Vent Panels w/ 12VDC fans for Intake and (1) 6" x 12" Dual Honeycomb Vent Panel for Exhaust. Includes 90-240VAC/12VDC power supply with USA Plug (USA Plug clip can be changed for International operation).

Air Flow: 204 CFM. QC Enclosure High performance IO Plate, includes:

250 VAC/500 VDC/30A facility filter (-100 dB 100kHz to 40 GHz) with (1) USA 120VAC/15A five outlet power strip rated for max. 15A and(1) 5-15P 120V/15A line cord. Also includes:

(1) RJ45-1G, (1)RJ45-10G, (4) 1000pf DB9, and (4) N with dust caps. There are no solicitation documents; however, any vendors that believe they can meet the requirements described should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government’s requirement. In addition, the response should include verification of the Offeror’s Representation and Certifications—Commercial Items in accordance to FAR 52.212-3.

If the offer does not have a copy of this provision, go to http://www.sam.gov/ to load required information. Any response received without completing this registration will be considered noncompliant.

Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e. Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR part 12. All information furnished shall be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow the government representative to evaluate and determine if it can meet the requirement.
