The Federal Aviation Administration has a requirement to replace the HVAC system at FYV ASR in West Fork, AR at the Fayetteville Airport.
Point of Contact: Tony Bryant, Contracting Officer tony.w.bryant@faa.gov The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified 8(a) small-disadvantaged businesses and service-disabled veteran owned-small business HVAC Contractors interested in providing offers for the work described below General Statement of Work:
FYV ASR: The Federal Aviation Administration’s, Fayetteville Airport Surveillance Radar (FYVV ASR) has two 27 ton Split HVACs that must be replaced with two 27 ton package units. Additionally new ductwork must be routed through the exterior block wall to terminate to the existing ductwork inside the facility.
The contractor must furnish necessary equipment, materials, labor and supervision to perform the following work at the FYV ASR located at LAT/LONG 35.977172, -94.140306, in West Fork, AR 72774. Work within this area requires escort, and might include background checks for all onsite personnel, and must be coordinated with the FAA Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) in advance.
1. Contract performance time is 14 calendar days after issuance of the NTP 2. This procurement is expected to be set-aside for 8(a) small-disadvantaged businesses and service-disabled veteran owned small businesses. 3. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238220 – Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors 4. The Small Business Size Standard is $19 Million 5. The rough order of magnitude for this proposed construction project is between $300,000.00 and $400,000.00.
6. Site Visits are not mandatory, but may be requested. Information will be specified in the Request for Proposal. The Request for Proposal Package is expected to be available mid-December 2024. Contractors must submit their request for this package no later than 5:00 pm (CST) by Friday, December 6, 2024.
