EGYN211002 Repair Electrical Transformers

The A/E Design Firm shall provide all TITLE I Design Services required to develop a comprehensive A/E design and a complete Issued For Construction (IFC) set of documents. The contractor is to evaluate site conditions for the replacement of eighteen (18) transformers located in B820 and B830. These transformers have medium voltage primaries with various secondary voltages ranging from 208 volts to 4160 volts.

The resulting IFC construction documents shall be for the demolition of existing transformers and the installation of new transformers, including a strategy for overcoming conflicts of getting the materials in and out of the buildings. The complete IFC package shall include drawings, specifications, a construction Statement of Work (SOW), a submittal register, an estimate of probable construction cost, and a Design Analysis.

The A/E shall also conduct site investigations, review as-built drawings, hold design review meetings with Government stakeholders, and ensure all designs conform with DoD Building Code (UFC-1-200-01) and all associated Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC).
