Repair B440 Blaze Hangar, T7 Electrical Upgrades

See Statement of Work for further description. SUMMARY The Contractor must provide all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, and tools required to retrofit building 440, The Blaze Hangar, in preparation for the T-7. The work shall include but is not limited to:

the retrofit of the 480V electrical distribution system, the 400 Hz electrical distribution system, the restriping of the floor to align with the size and parking spaces for the T-7. Perform all work according to this Statement of Work (SOW), all related AF requirements, and other codes and references. BACKGROUND With the roll out of a new airframe the existing facilities will need to be retrofitted to accommodate it. The size of the T-7 is different from the T-38 and the floor stripping will need to be adjusted to account for this. The electrical foot print of the T-7 is higher than the T-38 and the existing power stations and 400 Hz system in the hangar will need to be upgraded.
