NOTICE OF INTENT: The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to award on a Limiting Competition sole source basis, a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), for laboratory accreditation services to The Department of Defense Food Analysis and Diagnostic Laboratory (DoDFADL) in support of Public Health Command-Central, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Accreditation is the most appropriate way to ensure an organization’s competence to perform a specified task. The NAICS code is 813920 with a size standard of $23,500,000.00. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.
