JB,MDL Sole Source Intent - Kardex-Remstar MX

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD – Kardex-Remstar Storage Units Maintenance/Service This is a notice that the 87th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to award a sole source contract to Garden State Office Systems & Equipment based on FAR 13.106(b) Soliciting from a Single Source. The purpose of this procurement is to provide preventive maintenance and inspection services for the existing Kardex-Remstar Storage Units manufactured and installed by Garden State Office Systems & Equipment. The Period of Performance will be one 12 month base period with two 12 month options. The proposed NAICS for this requirement is 811310 with a size standard of $11M.

NOTICE: THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT, NOT AN RFQ. The intent of this notice is to inform any potential offerors of a proposed contract action. This proposed procurement is for items which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.

However, interested parties having Kardex-Remstar proprietary rights may identify their interest and submit their capability statement to the contracting officer no later than July 8, 2024 1300 PM EST. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the contracting officer.
