Intent to Sole Source Spacesaver Powered Mobile System Maintenance

The Regional Contracting Office, Twentynine Palms, CA, intends to award a sole-source contract to McMurray Stern, Inc., the authorized small business distributor for Spacesaver Corporation, for the modification and maintenance of existing Spacesaver powered mobile weapons storage racks.

This action is being taken under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, as only the OEM and its authorized distributor are capable of providing the OEM-certified parts and factory-trained installation services necessary to complete the required conversion from powered mobile to mechanical-assist without voiding the warranty or compromising compliance with Marine Corps Order 5530.14A, Marine Corps Physical Security Program Manual.
