NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE: AMIC Det 2 OL/PKA Contracting Squadron, Patrick SFB, FL contemplates awarding a single source purchase order as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to Reftek Systems Inc. for the procurement of the OEM (Reftek Systems, Inc) equipment listed: R-109650-06 / Wrangler, Broadband Seismic Recorder, 6 Channel x2 R-109650-80-KIT / Kit, Wrangler Accessories (184-GNSS, GNSS cable, PowerA cable, Ethernet cable, 16GB USB stick) x2 R-97131-00 / SW-COMPASS: Software, Seismic Signal Data Processing, Interactive x1 R-97134-00 / Software, Reftek Interface (RTI) - SW-RTI-NC x1 These are used by the Air Force Technical Applications Center.

IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15), Reftek Systems Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government’s requirement for items listed above. Reftek Systems Inc. are the creator, owner, licensor, and copyright for the products. Reftek does not allow any entity or person to sublicense their equipment nor allow any other entity to upgrade the system. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement and/or submit documentation to prove they can fulfill this requirement.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received electronically for this synopsis by 11:00AM EDT, 18 June 2024, shall be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
