YELL Rotary Snow Blower Head Inspection and Repair THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND NOT A COMPETITIVE REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The National Park Service, ConOps Central, Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Sole Source award Rotary Snow Blower Head Attachment repair and inspection for Yellowstone National Park. Inspection and repair to Original Equipment standards utilizing original blueprint drawing, parts, and acceptable tolerances.

The repair shall include upgrade made by the manufacture to improve performance. Rework the rotary blower head unit to original manufacturer specifications as per Sawtooth Manufacturing procedures. The National Park Service intends to procure the inspection and repair from one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b).

This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures and will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 333120 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1250 employees/. This is a Sole Source Notice and not a request for quotations. No solicitation document is available with this notice.

A determination not to compete this proposed order based on responses to this notice will be made at the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for support of the Government's determination to support of a non-competitive strategy.
