MULTIPLE INDICATOR MONITORING (MIM) TRAINING SERVI

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the services defined in this Statement of Work (SOW) for classroom (i.e. PowerPoint presentations and small-group exercises) and field training (demonstration of techniques and practice of methodologies) on the MIM protocol.

This training is needed to train users in the MIM protocol so they can collect accurate and precises data in an efficient and cost-effective manner. These data are routinely collected to satisfy stipulations in grazing permits, biological opinions, and court-ordered settlement agreements. These data also inform management by characterizing the condition and trend of riparian and aquatic resources in western rangelands of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Forest Service (FS). The goal is to prepare competent, efficient and effective data collectors through structured training.
