AR - NORFORK HATCHERY COLUMN AERATION UNITS

This is a Sources Sought Notice for the purposes of conducting market research and obtaining industry information ONLY. This is NOT a request for proposal, quotation, or bid, nor a synopsis of a proposed action under FAR Subpart 5.2. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated for providing information in response to this synopsis or on any follow up information. No solicitation is currently available. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) will use information obtained through this synopsis as well as other market research to develop an acquisition strategy.

Summary: The USFWS is anticipating the solicitation and award of one firm fixed price Goods contract for the supply of oxygenation equipment and aluminum packed columns for the Norfork National Fish Hatchery located in Mountain Home, AR. The work under this contract is expected to include, but is not limited to the following:

All related tasks, such as providing vertical column aeration units, stands and fill material. Units shall remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other volatile contaminants from water through the process of air stripping at the define flow rate. The following shall be provided: Aeration Columns - (48) 36" OD Aeration Aluminum Columns with aluminum construction, resistant to corrosion and a durable finish suitable for aquaculture environments.

Packed Columns - (20) 8" PVC Packed Columns with PVC construction, in compliance with ASTM D1785, suitable for continuous exposure to water and aquaculture conditions. The primary NAICS code for this acquisition will be 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, and the size standard is $15.0. An alternate NAICS code for this acquisition being considered will be 112519, Other Aquaculture, and the size standard is $3.75.
