NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) has entered into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Emerson Boiler, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) sole Source. It is urgent request to replace hot water circulating valve at John F. Kennedy Day School due to no heat in main school building, kitchen and administration office.

The vendor is the original installer of the heating system. The anticipated delivery is February 27, 2026. No solicitation is available, and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238220.
