NOTICE OF AWARD-SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) has entered into a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.501(a), 41 U.S.C. 1901, Urgent and Compelling. The Government has determined that only one responsible source is available, and no other source will satisfy agency requirements due to the unique circumstances of this requirement.

10/30/2024-01/31/2025 Award Amount: $56,400.00 Delivery Location: Turtle Mountain High School 1350 Braves Blvd Belcourt, ND 58316 This is to replace the Fire Pump, Controller and Jockey Pump in the BIE Facilities Maintenance Shop and Turtle Mountain High School. The pumps provide water to the fire sprinkler systems. Without working pumps there is no pressure for the sprinkler systems which prevents the sprinkler systems from working.

In the event of a fire, harm to people and government property may occur if prompt repairs are not made. The sprinkler system helps stop and reduce the spread of fire. Due to the urgent and compelling nature of this requirement a competitive solicitation will not be issued. Technical questions will not be answered for this requirement being this is not a request for quote nor proposal and the government is not accepting quotes nor proposals in response to this notice. Any response provided as a result of this notice is strictly voluntary and shall be at no cost to the government.
