Notice of Intent

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) has entered into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Jemez Mountain Electric Cooperative, Inc., under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) sole Source.

A request for Jemez Mountain Electric Cooperative to run a new electrical service line to the BIA meter pole, and to install their meter and energize the power to the meter pole to the new Marquee Sign that was installed about 1-2 years ago. The infrastructure was put in place by Jemez Mountain Electric Cooperative since the school was built. They are the only Utility Company that can provide services to that location of the Navajo Reservation.

The anticipated delivery is April 30, 2024. No solicitation is available, and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 221122.
