NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT.THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with AB Staffing Solutions LLC under the authority of FAR13.106-1(b)(1), Urgency. The nature of this requirement has been deemed urgent and following competitive procedures would result in unnecessary delays. The circumstances of this contact action deem only one source is reasonably available.

Select Vendor: AB Staffing Solutions LLC 3451 S. Mercy Rd Gilbert, AZ 85297-0206 BIE has a need for temporary help service at Taos Day School in Taos, New Mexico. The school has an urgent need for a Special Education (SPED) Teacher.

The school has a responsible for providing a high-quality general education and special education programming pursuant to PL108-446, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and PL 93-112, section 504 ofthe Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The special education service is essential eligible students to participate and received the required services in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

Taos Day School has tried to hire a permanent BIE staff person into this position for almost a year without success. The anticipated cost is $131,100.00 a twelve-month period of performance from date of award. A solicitation will not be made available, and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 611110 ¿ Elementary and Secondary School.
