Notice of Intent

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) has entered into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Katherine Arviso under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) sole Source. Urgency request for Speech/Language Pathologist services for the remanding school year for Baca Community School.

Without these services, the school is failing to provide services as specified in a student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)and can have serious consequences. It can impact the student’s ability to make progress in their education and development. It may also constitute a violation of the child’s rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Vendor is local within the area.

The anticipated delivery is March 6, 2025. No solicitation is available, and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 621340.
