Notice of Intent

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) has entered into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Cooper Fire Protection Service under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) sole Source. Repair of Fire Sprinkler System in Building 1931 located in the Eastern Navajo Agency BIA Roads yard. The fire sprinkler system was found to be leaking air and current out of service.

The fire sprinkler system is a life safety equipment and required to be always in service. Water has been shut off to the fire sprinkler system and firefighting system is compromised and needs to be return in full operation for safety of the BIA Roads staff who occupy the building. The anticipated delivery is March 29, 2024. No solicitation is available, and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement.
