Davis-Monthan AFB SABER Sources Sought

The 355th Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of contractors capable of providing the services required by a Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ISSUED FOR INFORMATIONAL AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION, OR ULTIMATELY AWARD A CONTRACT.

Any information provided in response to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Sources Sought Notice.

Information provided in response to this notice will be used to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside the Air Force.The services required through a SABER contract fall within North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the applicable small business size standard is $45,000,000.

Description of Services Required: All work shall be in conformance with the requirements of the contract including, but not limited to, furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, management, and other services (including engineering/technical design support), items, and incidentals necessary for the successful completion of each issued delivery order. This contract is for a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

The contract is a firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements (SABER). Specific project requirements will be identified in individual task orders. The SABER contractor will be expected to simultaneously accomplish a significant volume of task orders.

Contractor Response: We request that contractors respond to this Sources Sought Notice with information in sufficient detail to support their capability to satisfy the requirements of a SABER contract at Davis-Monthan AFB.
