Notice of Intent to Issue Order for Renewable Energy Certificates

This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 5.201, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The contracting office for this notice is the 772 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron/PKD, Tyndall AFB, FL 32403. This notice of intent to award is not a soliciation or request for competitive quotations. No solicitation or request for quote will be forthcoming.

In accordance with FAR 16.703, the 772 ESS intends to issue a competitive order against the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Basic Ordering Agreement (standing solicitation SP0604-22-R-0417) for the purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates for various locations in the Continental United States in support of meeting the requirements of 42 U.S.C. § 15852(a) as amended by EPAct § 203; and the Energy Act of 2020 §§ 3002(o), 3006(b)(2) of December 27, 2020, 134 Stat.

2497, 2512. The order shall comply with the terms & conditions under the DLA basic ordering agreement. This notice incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2024-05 effective 22 May 2024.
