The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order for International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 17025:2017 Accreditation.

7/1/2026-6/30/2027 Option Year 3: 7/1/2027-6/30/2028 This announcement constitutes the only notification of the ATF’s intent to solicit on a sole source basis. A formal combined synopsis/solicitation will not occur. All solicitation communication will occur directly with the proposed contractor. This acquisition is for a commercial item or service and is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13—Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12—Acquisition of Commercial Items. It is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The notice of award and the written sole source justification will be posted after award.
