Description
As published on SAM.gov.
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Microsystems Technology Office (MTO) seeks information on the feasibility and application space of modular, interconnected cryocoolers featuring sub-kelvin stages requiring no helium-3. DARPA is interested in disruptive technology concepts significantly beyond the current state of the art, backed by preliminary experiments, predictive modeling, or analytical work. Approaches not of interest include solutions for reducing, but not eliminating, helium-3 in the sub-kelvin stage(s) and solutions providing incremental advancements on today’s architectures.
